Pay The Two Dollars

The Crow convinces the Fox that there is buried treasure on his tiny island, but he won't let the Fox dig for it until he pays $2, in this decent episode i the Columbiacartoon series.

The characters began as the leads of Frank Tashlin's THE FOX AND THE GRAPES. Although Tashlin left Columbia soon afterwards, they continued in. Twenty more cartoons produced by Columbia, and three for UPA. In all of them, the Crow conned the Fox into some series of actions for his own benefit. They were popular enough that they had their own comic book series that continued into the 1960s.
