Tobu yume wo shibaraku minai

A man in hospital has a weird and sexy conversation with a woman in the next bed, whom he cannot see. He later discovers she is in her sixties. They meet several more times and, each time, she is younger. She floats in and out of his life at random.

I found this film to be a real charmer, quite offbeat and, at times, hilarious. A real gem.

I originally saw this movie on VHS (with subtitles, which I loaned to a friend and never got it back). So when it came out on DVD I placed a special order for it and cost me $100 and was really worth it and worth the wait. The only draw back is that the Japanese DVD release does not include any subtitles at all and I am trying to have subtitles added to this film.

A friend of mind showed it to me and I was totally blown away. If you love time travel movies, this film has a different concept or approach on it, no time machines involved. Though there might be parts of the movie which is a little bit disturbing or can be offensive to some but the way it was made was in good taste.
