The song "Kisi Pyar Mein" was sampled from Ann Pebble/Eruption song " I Can't Stand The Rain". The same tune was sampled in the song "Jahan Chaar Yaar" in Sharabi.
The song Ding Dong Ding Dong from Pasand Apni Apni, was sampled from the song "Carwash" by Rose Royce. Rajesh Khanna movie Red Rose used "Carwash" in a few night club scene's.
Concept between Mithun Chakraborty and Rati Agnihotri was later inspired in the film Ghajini 2008,between Asin and Aamir Khan.
The film was originally titled "Abhinay".
