Coyote vs. Kitty

An old lady has will her fortune to her beloved cat, Kitty Cuddles. When the butler who has been tending to the animal discovers a codicil to the will leaving him everything in the event of the cat's death, he goes through increasingly violent ways of killing her.

For most of the cartoon, the kitten escapes through luck and remains blithely unaware of the attempts at murder, lending this a sort of Coyote-and-Roadrunner air without the elaborations. The result is distinctly uninspired and it quickly runs out of steam, despite the efforts of old-hand voice talents Jackson Beck and Mae Questal. There is also the offering of a "Featuring Kitty Cuddles" cameo that Famous Studios used on a lot of their one shots that indicates to the audience there will be more of these. I don't think they ever carried through with the threat.
