Terry Sue-Patt, who played Benny Green in Grange Hill (1978), was originally offered to reprise his role for this series but turned it down.
Todd Carty and Elaine Lordan were reunited several years later in Eastenders. Elaine played Lynne Slater.
The series has never been rebroadcast.
Todd Carty (Peter "Tucker" Jenkins), George Armstrong (Alan Humphries), Paul McCarthy (Tommy Watson), Michelle Herbert (Trisha Yates) Linda Slater (Susi McMahon) and Hilary Crane (Mrs Jenkins) are the only actors to reprise their roles from Grange Hill (1978).
