- TriviaFirst role and only nude scene for Jennifer Jacob (the naked girl in the jacuzzi kissing Evan Lurie). Jacob was the daughter of the owner of the house where the scene was filmed. Director Jenö Hodi convinced her father to let them use his huge mansion, swimming pool and jacuzzi for free in exchange for letting his aspiring 19-year-old actress daughter be in the movie. What the owner would learn later is that Hodi asked the daughter if she would be nude in the jacuzzi for her big scene and she readily agreed. In fact, she had no issue at all being stark naked in front of the actors and crew. Needless to say, the homeowner was furious when he found out, but by that time, the production had movied on to the next location.
- GoofsWhen David's female student undresses and gets in the jacuzzi naked, David joins her but he is fully dressed in one shot and two seconds later he is completely nude walking passed the camera but no time is supposed to have passed.

Featured review
This film is indeed horrible. It makes the first American Kickboxer movie look quite good, something it definitely is not. The problems are many. I can't remember one single fight scene/action scene which was even remotely memorable or exciting. The characters never caught my interest, and I wished they would disappear from my TV screen. It seems to be made by a bunch of amateurs. Maybe it really was a high school project, where some Z-grade actors/models got hired and were told to do a couple of karate moves. That's simply not enough to make a martial arts movie. And why the title "American Kickboxer 2"? OK, it's set in America, but it has nothing to do with the first movie at all. (and was the American Kickboxer title something that could attract interest? Who had heard of the first movie anyway?).
A failure at everything it tries to achieve.
