The upcoming blockbuster Suicide Squad has dropped the video for the soundtrack cut "Sucker for Pain," featuring a Suicide Squad-like assortment of MCs – Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign and Logic – alongside rockers Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors.
The video sees all six artists involved performing their joint cut on various sets from the Suicide Squad film: Lil Wayne sits atop the Joker's fiery throne, while Logic's straitjacketed appearance is a nod to the film's Harley Quinn. However, for fans of DC Comics and the collective of super villains,...

The soundtrack for “Suicide Squad” was unveiled Thursday via an Amazon preorder opportunity, and perhaps its most notable track is a Panic! At The Disco cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” That doesn’t mean it’s the only goodie, however: Eminem, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lil’ Wayne, and twenty one pilots also made the cut, among other top artists. Panic! has performed the tribute song live several times; Watch the band do so via the video above. There's been a great deal of discussion about Suicide Squad's tone, particularly following the shake-ups at Warner Brothers post-Batman V Superman and the speculation about the purpose of the reshoots on the David Ayer film. Devin Faraci of Birth.Movies.Death contends that he has a source that says that Warner Brothers was looking to up the ante on the humor of the film so that it would more closely resemble the popular trailer featuring the Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody. Whatever the purpose of the reshoots -- whether it's to add more Harley or more jokes (which is likely on in the same) -- the tone of these two new television spots is far more akin to that "Queen trailer" than the grim (but still very cool) first teaser. So, if the marketing is to be believed, it does look as though the film will be far more irreverent and darkly humorous than grim and brooding. Even Amanda Waller is getting her sillies on. Take a look at the new spots below. Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5, 2016.

One of the more intense moments from The Walking Dead comic book series is Rick’s hand-to-hand fight with Hilltop resident Ethan, and for our latest Q&A feature, we caught up with Justin Kucsulain, the actor who played Ethan on Season 6 of AMC’s The Walking Dead. Kucsulain discussed filming the gritty fight scene with Andrew Lincoln, being on the set of the Hilltop, his role in Season 2 of Bloodline, and more.
Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us, Justin. When were you first inspired to become an actor and what drove you to pursue acting as a career?
Justin Kucsulain: I was first inspired to become an actor on the set of the 2013 Marvel summer blockbuster, Iron Man 3, working as a featured extra. At the time I was just a “big, fit dude” with zero craft, working strictly off of natural ability.

Freddie Mercury might be regarded as one of the greatest vocalists of all time, but as far as vocal range goes, he was nothing out of the ordinary. At least, those are the findings of a group of scientists who studied the deceased Queen singer’s voice. A team of Austrian, Czech and Swedish authors studied archive recordings of Mercury and enlisted a rock singer to imitate him in their study. According to the study’s lead author, Austrian voice scientist Christian Herbst, the “Bohemian Rhapsody” singer possessed a vocal range that was “normal for a healthy adult — not more,...

Lea Michele has amassed quite the collection of tiny tattoos, with everything from musical notes from Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on her shoulder to a gold star on her wrist as a subtle nod to her years playing the role of Glee's Hbic, Rachel Berry. The Scream Queens actress added a few more on Monday night when she comissioned NYC's Prospect Tattoos to give her two sweet representations of her late grandmother and her late boyfriend, Glee costar Cory Monteith. "I lost my beautiful grandma this week . . . She wasn't your typical grandma," Lea captioned an Instagram photo showing off the itty-bitty coffee cup she got inked on the inside of her finger. "She gave me my first cup of coffee when I was 8 years old. She said something inappropriate to every boyfriend I've ever had. She never made pie or knit me a sweater. But she was my grandma...

So, the dust has finally settled post-Batman v Superman, as those involved can start drip-feeding us morsels of Justice League news which we will gratefully lap up, of course.
There’s been plenty more in the way of spoilers this week, though: we learned more about the complexion of Star Wars: Episode VIII, the future of the X-Men franchise, an unexpected sequel that’s coming our way soon, and how Warner Bros. are taking steps to ensure the safety of the Dceu’s future.
Even with the superhero grudge match ultimately disappointing a large portion of fans, it’s still a damn exciting time to be a film fan, both in terms of the Justice League’s enormous potential and the sheer glut of enticing blockbusters heading down the pike over the next few years.
Here are 11 movie spoilers we didn’t know last week…

For some time now, since the most recent round of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice test screenings took place, there's been talk of some concern over at Warner Bros about the state of its DC franchise. Several sites, including our own, have reported that the general response was that the film would likely play well with anyone who enjoyed Man Of Steel, it didn't have the kind of broad appeal that the studio might have been hoping for in order to bring in more casual fans.
Birth Movies Death has published a report that implies that WB has been working on this issue for some time. While there was little to be done about BvS since the film was more or less complete and about to open- and couldn't suffer another delay- they decided to turn their attention towards the next DC release, Suicide Squad. Why so serious? Warner Bros. is set to stage Suicide Squad reshoots to add levity to the embryonic DC universe.
First reported by Birth.Movies.Death., it’s claimed that the studio has allotted “tens of millions of dollars” in a bid to implement more lighthearted scenes, with the report asserting that the vast majority of jokes and/or one-liners in David Ayer’s anti-hero feature were shoehorned into the rip-roaring second trailer. The one played to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” that is.
More News From The Web
Hatched under the shadow of Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad began life as a jet-black thriller, as evidenced by the very dark Comic-Con sizzle reel that hit the interwebs. Since that time, Ayer’s spinoff has gradually began to show its garish, neon colors, and if anything those purported reshoots ought to have the cast and crew embracing that wacky, left-field tone even more so.

Last year’s footage of Suicide Squad from San Diego Comic-Con painted the movie as an action-packed, yet gloomy affair. Then January’s first official trailer did a complete 180 with fun moments and quips being dropped left and right while Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody" played. Well, it turns out that said trailer might have featured every one of Suicide Squad’s jokes, but now Warner Bros isn’t sparing any expense to ensure the August blockbuster resembles its latter preview more. Thanks to the positive response to the most recent Suicide Squad trailer, Birth.Movies.Death has heard that Suicide Squad is currently in the middle of reshoots that are reportedly costing tens of millions of dollars. The reason for this is to add more humor and lightness to the movie, which would certainly separate it tonally from its darker predecessor, Batman v ...
