A beautiful version. Provocative for technical solutions, fair, for the explore of poetry of Oscar Wilde novel, interesting for acting, Raymond Gerome offering a nice portrait of cynical Henry,, remembering a version of Salieri accepting, after few first reserves, the manner to craft his Dorian Gray by Patrice Alexandre.
Provocative for the construction of decors, piano music and for the precher of the first scenes, it is a film inspiring nostalgia and proposing a smart rediscover of the univers of novel.
In short, just I like it , reminding me more Paul Claudel than Oscar Wilde but having the virtue of honest and precise job.
