There’s much to celebrate this September thanks to Plex! The free streaming service is adding 23 new titles to its library of over 50,000 this month, and even though the list may seem short, especially compared to some of the major streamers’ lists, Plex is flexing its movie muscles with major titles such as “L.A. Confidential,” “The King of Comedy,” and more.

Before “Requiem for a Dream,” “The Whale,” and the rest of his filmography, Darren Aronofsky made his feature directorial debut with the black-and-white psychological thriller “Pi.” Starring Sean Gullette, the film follows Max Cohen, a paranoid mathematician with an obsession to find order in the world amongst the diametrically opposed concepts of human irrationality and mathematical rationality.

Los Angeles, July 17 (Ians) Singer Taylor Swift continues to make her mark in history and the release of ‘Speak Now’ (Taylor’s Version) has given the songstress a major win.

The re-recorded ‘Speak Now’ made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart joining three other Swift albums in the Top 10. Swift’s achievement marked the first time a woman has ever done this in 60 years and only one of three living artists to have ever scored such a feat, reports Deadline.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) moved 716,000 album-equivalent units during its first week, according to Billboard. Swift’s other three albums in the Top 10 are Midnights(2022) at No. 5, Lover (2019) at No. 7 and Folklore (2020) at No. 10.

Exclusive: Abacus Media Rights has boarded international distribution on Savage Waters, the feature documentary about a mission to find and surf a spectacular big wave in the Atlantic Ocean.

The pic follows renowned skipper Matt Knight, who teams up with world-class big wave surfer Andrew Cotton to adventure into the most dangerous waters of the Atlantic. Their journey is inspired by a passage in a 19th century treasure hunter’s journal. Joined by family and friends, the pair are faced with life-threatening challenges on their quest.

Doc is directed by Mikey Corker (Beneath The Surface), produced by Ghislaine Couvillat (Girls Can’t Surf) of Whipped Sea and edited by Emmy winner Jordan Montminy (The 8th), with story consultation from BAFTA-winning Nic Guttridge (The Spy Who Fell To Earth).

The Birds of Prey soundtrack will be released the same day as the film, and features 15 tracks from the comic book movie.

The new Birds of Prey film has so much going for it—a cast of talented women, killer fight scenes, electric visuals—but one of the elements that ties all of those aspects together is the film's bopping soundtrack. Warner Bros. has released the full track list for Birds of Prey: The Album, a sneak peek at what you're in store for when this film hits the theaters on February 7th.

Birds of Prey: The Album was put together by the same people who did the Suicide Squad soundtrack, and features 15 tracks from women artists. Among them, the trio rep 43 writers, 10 directors and 10 actors, including writers Greg Coolidge (Sorority Boys), Chris Morgan (Cellular), Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson (Four Christmases), Michael Weiss (Around the World in 80 Days), Ed Horowitz (Exit Wounds), the Wheat brothers (Pitch Black) and Gregg Rossen and Brian Sawyer (Diesel Debutante); writer-directors Ryan Shiraki (Home of Phobia), Rob McKittrick (Son of the Mask), Peter Cohen (Whipped), Tony Vitale (Kiss Me Guido) and John Patterson (The Sopranos); and actors Lucas Black, Ryan Pinkston, Brooke D'Orsay, Russell Wong, Sam Huntington and Josh Coxx.
