Arthur Mertz passed away before filming started, having only written part of the story. The screenplay was completed by an uncredited Harry Jackson

Arthur Mertz, son of the writer Arthur Mertz, makes two uncredited appearances. These both happened when he was called upon to replace unsuitable extras.

The only film where Arthur Mertz's pseudonym is given as "Ronny" Parsons, rather than Roney.
