In high hopes of creating a better future for themselves and their families, the enterprising relatives, Grigoris and Darius Perdikas, leave the island of Samos and arrive in bustling Athens. Like a fish out of water, the duo starts a blacksmithing business, but before long, another islander, Miltiadis Pagonas, arrives in the capital, and as if that weren't enough, he buys the vacant shop next to them and starts his small auto-repair business. Now, a destructive feud defines the relationship of the two neighbours, and such is their stubbornness, that their long-standing enmity passes on from generation to generation. Will the two families ever set their differences aside?
