The trailer for "Aan Milo Sajna" used to be played during the interval of other films released in 1970 and the crowds would erupt as soon as Rajesh Khanna arrived on the screen.
According to Asha Parekh: "The song, "Achcha to hum chalte hain" was again hell to shoot because we wanted to capture the sunset, and light was playing hide and-seek".

Om Prakash Who was presenter of the film was having discussions for the music with Anand Bakshi , Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and link=Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, The four sat there in a long silence as not much was coming to mind, so Anand Bakshi got up and said "Aj Kuch Bath Ban Naya Raha Hain, Achha To Hum Chalte Hain" (Not much discussion today, OK, I am going), To which Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar replied "Phir Kab Miloge" (When will we meet). From that moment they had the song idea for "Achha To Hum Chalte Hain" which would be recorded by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar.
During music setting director J Om Prakash,lyricist Anand Bakshi and music director Laxmikanth-Pyarelal were having a hard time in composing.As nothing was working Anand Bakshi got up and said Accha Toh Hum Chalte Hai to which Laxmikanth-Pyarelal replied Phir Kab Miloge.This is how the romantic song was composed.
