Four Stars (or,'****:The 25 Hour Movie')from 1967 was a one time only event, where several reels of film shot over a period of several months by Andy Warhol & associates that year were screened in one insane 25 hour blast. According to sources, the films were screened side by side (like Chelsea Girls from the year before). A majority of the films were fairly short (most of them were only 30 minutes), but a one time only screening of the eight hour plus opus,'Imitation Of Christ' was also on view for those with the back bone for it ('Imitation would eventually be re-edited down to a fourth of it's original running time for a wider release). Also included was the infamous film, 'F**k' (which would eventually be re-titled 'Blue Movie')was also on tap. The (obvious)high water mark for the film(s)was the music score, which included (among others)The Velvet Underground (sorry,no soundtrack record album of the music from '****' was ever made available---at least I don't think so,in the legal sense anyway---perhaps a bootleg may exist somewhere). The films starred the usual contingent of Andy Warhol's Factory hanger on's, including (but not limited to)Ondine,Nico,Jackie Curtis, and others. Obviously not rated by the MPAA (which had not even implemented it's rating system, yet),but as any other Warhol production, contains nudity,on screen sexuality, pervasive language, drug use & other material that junior probably should not be subjected to ('Blue Movie'would eventually land itself the requisite 'X' rating when it was given an independent release the following year, when '****' was dismantled & most of the reels were stashed away in Warhol's closet)
