This was the last film starring Papamichael and Vougiouklakis and the first one that the actress collaborated with director Foskolos.
The director Nikos Foskolos told Aliki Vougiouklaki to bring with her the most plain dress she had, for the needs of the shootings. However, even though Aliki brought with her a dress that was plain, in fact it was expensive and made of silk. Thereafter, during the shooting of the scene where Aliki portrays the tormented, tied up Natassa, the director cut the dress with a scissor and stained it with mud, making it look aweful. Aliki started crying her heart out and the director said "Let's film guys, now that Aliki's crying" [According to Makis Delaportas, biographer of Greek cinema's greatest actors]
The initial title of the movie was "Lieutenant Nausica" (in greek "Ypolohagos Nausica"). Aliki didn't like this name at all, so she requested the name "Natassa" instead.
