It's sad the lack of information about this excellent anime on the web. It was one of the many japanese shows I watched as a child and I have very pleasant memories of it. Aired as "Fly's Adventures" on catalan TV, it was showed as a substitute of popular TV series "Dragon Ball", which has several similarities with this "Dai no daiboken".
It explains the story of Fly, a young boy with a peaceful life in an island filled with non-evil monsters who is destined to be a hero and fight against the forces of evil. With him are Pop and Maam, two young warriors who join him and help him in his fight. All of them were pupils of the same master, Ivan, and also seek revenge for his murder.
Highly underrated and also highly entertaining, this show has a place in my heart, because it was an important part of my childhood (I think that everyone feels something similar about a TV series, a movie, a song, etc.)

"Doragon kuesuto: Dai no daibouken" is an epic adventure that immerses you in a fantastical world filled with monsters, magic, and heroes. The voice acting is top-notch, bringing the characters to life with depth and emotion. The film editing keeps the action engaging, though the pacing can be uneven at times. Its strength lies in the grandeur of its storytelling, showcasing the classic hero's journey with a unique twist. The music complements the epic scale of the series, heightening the excitement of each battle. While it may not deliver a profound message, it celebrates the power of friendship and courage. The cinematography beautifully captures the diverse landscapes and creatures of this captivating universe. With a 7/10 rating, "Doragon kuesuto: Dai no daibouken" is a thrilling and nostalgic adventure that is sure to satisfy fans of classic fantasy anime.
