This film originally was produced as the third segment Never Open That Door (1952). When production was completed and the initial cut proved to be far too long, it was shortened to two segments, and this film was turned into a stand-alone release.
PROLOGUE: "My eyes are faithfully closed. My hands are faithfully crossed. Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep; If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."
