"Dvoboj za troje" is a television film crafted by Mirjana Ojdanic and helmed by director Predrag Velinovic. The narrative centers around a divorced couple who are taken aback when they discover that their son has chosen to enlist in the fight to protect Yugoslavia against the separatist Muslim and Croatian forces in Bosnia.
In a poignant climax, their son communicates with them through a videotape, delivering his final message. This moment forces them to confront the disintegration of their marriage and the trajectory of their lives, yet a surprising twist offers a glimmer of hope.
The film features three prominent Yugoslav actors: Milena Dravic, Dragan Nikolic, and Olivera Markovic. Unfortunately, it was filmed using electronic cameras, which I must say detracted from the overall quality of the production. Everything else, however, was quite commendable.
