A very corny screenplay sinks this fairly ambitious attempt at an international porn production, made in the waning days of the Porno Chic era.
The late Paul Thomas impresses in a sort of Bogie role, playing an entertainer running a hotel in Paris who is forlorn, carrying a torch for Verna (Barbra Braun), the girl who got away. Mark Weiss's script places heavy emphasis on his feud with entrepreneur Gabriel Pontello, who took Verna away from him, and now pops up in the hotel running a fashion magazine contest to find "the girl with the million dollar legs".
The cliches are piled on thick, as the movie's star Porsche Lynn pops up in the hotel seeking a job as waitress and PT hires her as a bartender, since she can make a great Manhattan, a drink he supposedly can't find done properly in Paris. The movie's plot around a rivalry for her between PT and Gabriel is as hackneyed as could be.
Porsche is lovely and PT gets to play piano and emote in hangdog fashion as their romance unfolds, while Pontello leads a vast Euro cast list, some of whom having sex including young Rocco Siffredi, Marilyn Jess and brunettes Doris Folk and Barbra Braun Weakest player is Dominique St. Clair as a reporter turned contest judge, whose heavily accented attempt to speak English is unintelligible. I felt cheated, because IMDb listed Dominique Saint Claire in the cast, the beautiful French actress, not this creep with nearly the same name.
Dino Ferrari produced a number of these int'l productions featuring top American porn stars in Europe, but the ones helmed by Henri Pachard for him are far better than this one.
