The students who perform the "Hand-Jive" dance at the end of each fifth program were allowed to do the "Hand-Jive" by the producers, as it was the final thing they did before they went home.
In 1987, the opening title sequence was replaced by a new opening title sequence, which was inspired by the classic futuristic thriller Blade Runner (1982), which flying hexagons are seen flying above a futuristic city. The new title sequence remained until the final show of "Blockbusters" in 1993.
