In 1971 a charity appeal for Green Shield stamps raised enough cash to buy six kidney dialysis machines.
Bob Monkhouse's first tenure as host of the show came to an abrupt end after being accused of being seen accepting a big brown envelope for product placement on the show. The accusations were later found to be false.
Most editions of this series are believed to be lost.
