You'd be better off reading a book.

This movie was a waste of a perfectly good date night. The acting, the budget, the cast..everything about it was 5th rate. I appreciate low budget indie movies as much as the next person, but this was just horrific. The script was poorly written due to the fact that all the characters seemed to use the exact same phrases time & time again, and they were all annoying the first time they were heard. There was no real plot, climax or resolution. And plot holes ahoy! The NetFlix synopsis described it as a mix between Clockwork Orange & American History X and i wouldn't even place it in the same category as an actual movie.

a lot harder than it looks

Perhaps it is not acceptable for an actor(I use that word loosely in my case)to comment on a piece of work in which they had participated in. I feel that any critique of Xtinct,Badder than Hell,or Project Sheephead(all written and directed by Mr.Pacitto)are insightful and I welcome them, they help myself and everyone involved in the project bring you better quality material.

What I would like to say is this...the filming of Xtinct, taking place from the early fall of 1994 to,if I remember correctly, early 1996 was an experiment in frayed nerves, personal disputes, and how to correctly light a brick during a night shoot.I have never in my life given the misrepresentation that I had previous theatrical training prior to the filming of this movie,Project Sheephead(1991)and Badder than hell(1992)are mere 40 minute college projects that Mr.Pacitto did for film school while attending the University of Michigan.

I had the great fortune to work with this very talented group of people, cast and crew for the time of filming. My acting ability, and if you watch the movie you will see, really draws from two people...namely Mr.Richard Burton and Mr.Matt Dillon.I was trying to do Marc Antony from"Cleopatra" meets Moody from"My Bodygaurd".

Truth be told I was intoxicated due to nerves during sixty-five percent of the shoot,I had a close friend named John standing by with a pint of Wild Turkey and a can of Pabst, all the better to invoke the spirits of Misters Burton and Dillon with a little James Mason thrown in.Acting, and all aspects of film making are truly harder than they look,I and the others spent up to eight-twelve hours a day(3-6 days a week)in horrific Michigan weather saying the same lines and performing the same scene over and over and over and over again, while the lighting super, assistant director, and a guy who you called bud but now is your boss argue over if a brick which is a prop has too many shadows on it.

Wrapping this up it was a pleasure to work with the fine cast and crew of this picture,I sincerely hope I did not annoy them too much.It was also a great honor and privilege to meet and work with R.J. Watkins, host of the "new dance show" and local Detroit icon. Also a big thank you to Hedorah99 for doing a write-up of the film, his opinion counts for more than mine as a fan of movies can give a non-biased critique(thank you for rating it so high!!).Mr.Pacitto is still in the business, look for his other works.

    Man, Bobby Tilton Sucks.

This ambitious independant project centers around Bobby Tilton. His last unemployment check has arrived, his life is genrally sucky, and to make matters worst his best friend is killed by a drug dealer. Not knowing his friends debt, he blames a yuppie banker the two assaulted earlier. Bobby's life becomes obsessed with getting revenge on the one man who he believes killed his friend, and fails at it miserably in every attempt. The acting is a tad weak, but with a rotund bad guy named Chachi, how can you truly go wrong. Chachi steals the movie with some of the better dialogue. 8/10
