Referring to myself as a true and devoted Fan of Guildo Horn, I went to see his one and only movie so far. Hopefully he will decide that this was just a one-time episode into acting and will go back on stage where he belongs. Waschen, Schneiden, Legen is positively the worst movie I've seen in my life, and just the fact that Guildo gives his best doesn't really make it any better!
Lovely Susanna Simon makes haircutter Toni Schatz (Guildo Horn) leave his small town idyll for a journey to Berlin. He experiences all kinds of adventures and a not-so-usual lovestory. Images of German landscapes (highway filling station, small town, gay bar) like one seldom sees them in the movies. Good, partly silly jokes and a touching lovestory, that perfectly transport the figure Guildo Horn. Worth seeing!
