Production started last week on Nativity 2 - The Second Coming, the sequel to the successful 2009 family film Nativity!. Directed once again by Debbie Isitt, the film will shoot for six weeks in Coventry, North Wales and Stratford.
This time David Tennant heads the cast as new classroom teacher Mr Peterson. He is joined by Joanna Page and Sheridan Smith, and Marc Wooton, Pam Ferris and Jason Watkins have reprised their roles. Like the original film, Nativity 2 is once again about a school nativity play, but this time the children from St. Bernadette's get lost en route to a national singing contest.
