The film's producer requested Madan Mohan to record sweet romantic song where the heroine express's her love for the first time. Madan Mohan composed "Aap Ke Nazaron Ne Samjha". The producer heard it and hated it. He told Madan the audience would get bored and fall asleep. He wanted a faster pace song. Madan Mohan refused to change the song. Finally the producer told Madan he would retain the song and film it. He would leave it in the trial of the film. If the reaction at the trial was good, he would leave the song in the film. When the movie released, the public went crazy for the song. The producer went back to Madan Mohan and apologized for doubting his song.

Aap Ki Nazron Ne Samjha.This song started off as a completely different one. On the day it was supposed to be recorded, lyricist Raja Mehdi Ali Khan came to the director with new lyrics that were more suited to the song's situation. Madan Mohan took these lyrics and composed the new song and recorded it the same day. According to writer Raju Bharatan, Raja Mehdi Ali Khan had initially offered O.P. Nayyar these lyrics for what eventually was recorded as "Aap Yun Hi Agar Hum Se Milte Rahe" ("Ek Musafir Ek Hasina", 1962). However, Nayyar had felt that the lyrics were too docile and had asked Khan for something different. Only then did the lyricist offer him what became the song's recorded lyrics. It is possible that Raja Mehdi Ali Khan swapped the lyrics of the two songs to comply with Nayyar's demand
Hai Isi Mein Pyar Ki Aabroo. Naushad was so impressed by this Madan Mohan composition that he said that he would gladly exchange all his songs for this one composition.
