The success of this telenovela brought on a revival of the 50s and 60s' eras music style, with twist dance competitions happening in several places across the country. The soundtrack album sold over a one million copies.

Aged 32, Cine Holliúdy: A Série (2019) was reluctant to play an 18-year-old on this series. One of the reasons was that he had already gone bald at that point. Creator Mário Prata talked him into the character by saying that such a young role had to be found in his eyes.
The last black-and-white telenovela produced on Brazilian television. The final two episodes marked the debut of colored dramas by showing a time skip in the story.
