Harry Solter directs this simple romance very charmingly, taking advantage of his leads' abilities. Miss Lawrence -- who would shortly become the first movie-bred actress to receive her name above the title --combines tomboyish qualities with coquetry in a winning fashion. Although this is not a very advanced film for 1912, it tells its simple story well.
