excellent martial arts documentary

i first seen this film over 20 years ago..the film shows many styles grappling ,boxing , wing chung karate mostly.particularly enjoyed a scene where a black belt took blows to the neck and groin , without so much a a grimace !!!! the jujitsu is also very good in the video... can't remember the stars ,but it was a very 70's theme .. i would buy it to-day on DVD , but sadly it isn't available.. the beta max tape i had is worn out , though i have a friend who has a copy on VHS , however picture quality is low. i seen it along with kings of the square ring , another good one on the same lines to watch out for..i have that one ..luckily.

Hyperbole the movie!

The deadliest fighters with the strength of a hundred men and the power to destroy rocks with mere thought! This is of its time and filled with over the top statements, but it's so quaint and gets you pumped up, even if it's at times just a commercial for Ron Van Clief.

Fascinating historical martial arts piece

In the days before the UFC the world of martial arts looked very different. Film is a bit of a mish mash but there is some great athleticism on display and moreover it is super interesting to look st the prevailing martial arts beliefs at the time - that some moves were so deadly they couldn't easily be trained in live sparring and the choreography of the sparring that there was.

The UFC/MMA makes parts of this film look a bit silly, but it's still definitely worth a watch for any martial arts fans.
