Mere Saath Chale Na Saaya" from KITAAB (1977) and "Doli Mein Bithaike Kahaar" from AMAR PREM (1972) sound the same.
Hema Malini hated the film calling it dull and slow. Her romantic scenes with Dharmendra could have been better, but the dull song spoiled it.
Meethe Bol Bole in Kinara..R.D. Burman used the tune of S.D. Burman's Bengali song "Madhu Brindaboney" in this song. This tune can also be heard in a line in the song "Yeh Duniya Kya Hai" ("Darling Darling", 1977).
