Awesome Lotus (aka Enter the Bassett) was a Feature Finalist at the 1984 United States Film Festival/Park City Film Festival.
In its 1986 Cannes Film Market review of the film, Variety said it is " ... silly and ridiculous and just the ticket for cult fave sweepstakes."
