I, like mostly everyone, only watched it because Justin Timberlake was in it. Did ANYONE watch it for any other reason? But, it turned out to be a really cute movie! People who like movies like She's All That, and Clueless, will like this one. It's about a girl who switches identities with a super model, and they trade lives and everything. Justin plays a male super model. Sorry to say he isn't that much of an actor...But if you are a fan of his, I bet you wont care! It's a cute movie, so I think you should watch it!
the fact that there are so many reviews with a 10/10 score doesn't surprise me, i cant imagine there are many of the male population who have written their opinions on this film. Perfect acting- i think not. whilst Justan Timberlake is overrated as an actor, he's about as good as any of the others (especially the stupid little American kid-brothers). the storyline is probably even worse, and before anyone accuses me of being a typical man who wouldn't understand the sophisticated world of rom-coms (not that this film is either romantic or comedic), my 13 year old sister finds this a 'pile of poop', and she actually enjoys watching Lizzie Maguire (enough said).
Exactly what messages and values you pick up from this film is still unknown to me- i just understand that all human kind is full of lying scheming two faced characters who in the end get what they want and live happily ever after. Maybe I'm reading into this a bit too much, but they don't even completely tie up loose ends- i thought she had a best friend?!?! i would love to know who writes the screenplay for this kind of light trash, as i'd sign up for this job any day (im sure i would have a bit of trouble writing something that bad). i know its not my kind of film, but even i enjoy something with a bit of magic and character, model behaviour had neither. I've given it a 2/10 just because its laughable, and like there's no perfect movie, there's no absolutely terrible ones either.

Its a good film with twists and romance and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The movie can sometimes be perceived as cheesy but overall its great! I'm giving it 9 out of 10 because it can be a little cheesy!!
My only question is why hasn't it come out on DVD yet? Its been available to watch since 2000 and i am very disappointed in Disney for not putting it out on DVD as soon as it could have been. I personally think they should re-release it and make it more known and they can make big money...i know it! If they would only bring it out on DVD i could watch it all the time. Everybody with a positive attitude towards this movie and the people who really enjoy it i think would also really be impressed that Disney made the effort.
I love all the actors and i think Justin looked way sweet when they shot this movie...he was SO much younger!AWWWWWWWW!
!!!BRING IT OUT ON VIDEO AND DVD PLEASE!!!

This is the kind of film that just makes you feel good. I loved it from beginning to end and just thought it was wonderful. It's rare nowadays to find a film where there's no profanity, nudity, or violence but this film contains none of that and is perfect for the entire family to watch.
Right from the opening credits, you know exactly what sort of movie this is going to be. A teen "comedy/romance/drama" featuring a nerdy girl as the main character (screaming for a makeover) in lust with the cutest guy in school. We all know she's gonna make it in the end but ... how??? Stay tuned and all will be revealed. This movie isn't fantastic but it's innocuous and simple. Young teenage girls will love it - the fantasy of trading places, Justin Timberlake, cute guys (well, one, Eric), high school histrionics, school dances, nice clothes, pesky little brothers etc etc. It's a Disney movie -- what more can I say. Don't expect Oscar-winning stuff, it's light-hearted fluff. Don't think, just watch. It's really not that bad. 6/10
I decided to watch this movie one boring evening because I'm a major disney fan, and I saw that Justin Timberlake was going to be in it. Could he, or could he not act? That was my question. He was great! The movie was great! But it turned out (in my opinion) that Justin wasn't the hottest main stud in the movie. Jesse Nilsson did and awsome job, and was EXTREEMLY cute! They did a great job creating this film. People, lay off Cody Gifford, he's like, super young! Yes, I know as Max, he did a terrible job, but hey, at least the kid tried! Kathie Lee was Barely tolerable, but how can you pay attention to the acting when there were such cute guys in the movie! I was totally concentrating on the guys, not the acting.
I ended up buying the movie...it was great!

people have been asking around for this song and I have been looking for this song for about a week and i found it the song is by switch-foot and its called:Let that be enough this song is from the part when they are switching back!! hope that helps! I voted 10 out of 10 I loved this movie i watch it as many time as it comes on! the music is great too! the actors did a really good job in the movie! it was a good teen movie to watch and i am sure that people of all ages would like this movie! At first people only wanted to watch it because of Justin but after seeing it I am sure that they fell in love with the movie it-self

I liked this movie. It's not great film, but it's a nice feel-good movie. I was far more interested in Alex than I was in Janine.
I guess I identify more with the unpopular girl than the supermodel. I'd look for fanfiction about this movie, except that i know it won't exist. It just seemed to me that Janine's relationship with her guy was not as deep. I mean the first words out of his mouth once he found out were "I went out with Janine Adams!" I'm not saying they didn't care about each other or anything. The two of them were just a little more surface stuff. But there's nothing wrong with that.
I'm trying to find out the name of the song playing just after they've switched back. When Janine is looking at the pictures taken in the photo booth, etc. Since they only played the intro, I never found out what the title of the song was.
If anyone knows, let me know.

As I settled on the sofa to watch this film, I had no idea what to expect. I turned off the lights and the credits began to roll. Man, was I in for a shock. This movie was DYNAMIC. Not only was the plot solid, but the characters were deep and enthralling. This film captivated me both mentally and physically. Man, it was good. I have been a Kathie lee Gifford fan since I was in diapers, and she has never ceased to amaze me. Her performance in Model Behavior surpassed her small, yet vital, role in Dudley Doright, ten fold. Kathie Lee outshone the other performers in this film like the sun outshines the moon. And since the moon doesn't shine naturally, there is just no comparison. This film exemplifies Kathie Lee Gifford's talent as an actress of the highest caliber. She is a star among stars.
Model Behavior is the story of Alex Burroughs (Maggie Lawson), a hardworking, kind, creative, and unique high-school student who cleans up great. Alex is under appreciated. She dreams of being a fashion designer but spends all of her time being a good student and helping her father with his catering business. Luckily Alex happens to look enough like hardworking but spoiled supermodel, Janine Adams (also, Maggie Lawson) to spontaneously switch places with her when they run into each other in the bathroom at Janine's book signing event that Alex's father happens to be catering. They set some ground rules, including when they will switch back, but neither can resist the freedoms that each other's lives seem to offer. Interesting first acting effort from boyband superstar Justin Timberlake as Alex's love interest, supermodel Jason Sharpe.
I thought it was fun, a fantasy for every teen girl with a good message and some positive growth in the end.

I really liked this film, especially the plot and the looks and acting ability of the lead actress. I did have some major objections to the casting (specifically of Mrs. Gifford and her son) for the other main roles, but their performance surprised me.
I also thought that this was an interesting twist on the Disney-standard switching-roles movie plot (neither twins, nor relatives even, but simply look-alikes). It kind of alluded to (and in one case, a character even mentioned) the "Prince and the Pauper" as well.
Also, I thought the visual effects were very well done, especially the scene in the restaurant bathroom with the mirror.

It was fantastic and I really enjoyed watching it....the casts go so well with each other and the plot is very entertaining. It is a great movie for all ages, boy or girl and i highly recommend it. Maggie Lawson is a really good actress and it was a fun surprise to find out that Justin Timberlake was in the movie too. The Characters' profiles blend great with one another. This is the sort of movie you should watch with friends or your family with popcorn and a comfy seat! It's a perfect 10!!!!!!!!!
Plus a special appearance from a famous model!? Doesn't get much better than that right?

"Model Behavior" is a movie about where a super model and a regular teen switch places. I kept watching this because it wasn't like "Freaky Friday" or "Wish upon a Star", those are about when the characters make a wish to trade places and it 'magically' happens. This is where the people look alike. That is what kept me watching. I also liked it because of the way it was written. If I told you what happened, I would be spoiling it, so I will just tell you that much. But my other likeness of this was how well Maggie Lawson came upon the roles of BOTH characters. She made it seem so real. And how they put the two pictures together was amazing because it actually looked like there were two people there. So I give this a 9 out of 10 for only a few minor problems. P. S. I hope I am not confusing the reader

From Jesse Nilsson's dashing portrayal of the duped football beau to Justin Timberlake's innocent characterization of an adolescent male model, pre-teen and teen girls should be silly over this light comedy about a pair of look-a-like girls with far from look-a-like lives.....

I don't think I would of heard about this movie, if Justin Timberlake wasn't in it. But thank God, it was a great movie. Maggie Lawson was GREAT and so was Justin and the rest of the cast. I heard there was a book writen before it and the movie was based on it. Does anyone know the name and author of the book?? I would really like to read the book! THANKS!

Model Behavior, another Disney movie. I thought the plot was a little un-imaginative and it's been done. The acting was not as good as it could have been. Justin Timberlake aka 1/5 of Nsync, could use a couple more acting classes. Not to put him down, but he just seemed to try a little too hard, and made him sound it. Maggie Lawson did a great job playing to characters. Kathy Lee Gifford, she's everywhere now. I though she played a good/mean mom. She does a good pushy mom. Her son, umm.. can't act. Jesse Nilsson, he's great, good actor. Over All it was an ok movie. Probably wouldn't have watched if there weren't cute guys in it.
I really actually liked this movie. I think that I wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for Justin Timberlake being in the it. I don't think I would have ever even paid attention that the movie even existed if he wasn't in it. I really enjoyed his acting and the girl that played "Alex/Janine". It was a really cute plot...and the lead actors/actress they used for movie was a good choice. Unfortunately I feel liked they scraped the bottom of the barrel with using Kathie Lee Gifford and Cody Gifford in the movie. I really think they could have chosen someone better. Kathie Lee was tolerable...but Cody I could have really done without. The boy can't act and just made me really want to not watch the movie. It was cute movie minus those few bad actors. Overall I think if your a Justin fan...it's definately worth watching.
I didn't really expect to like it - like many I simply watched the film because I wanted to see whether or not Justin Timberlake could act. Actually, I think he did a fairly good job, and so did everyone else. The one exception was Codey Gifford ....
Other than that, it's a pleasant way to spend the afternoon, and all of the acting was nice.

A blonde girl who is supposed to be nerdy and average (but she's still such a gorgeous babe-o-rama as are any old teen featured on the Zoog Disney channel) changes places with a blonde superstar who lives a fabulous rich-girl life and get into all sorts of scrapes like asking for a wrong dish of breakfast, having to model half-naked for the camera, and running into boyfriend woes. And both girls seem to lead such rich, fulfilling lives full of trendy clothes, handsome boys, bratty little brothers, catty rivals, and flashy dates. How Disney. And how Barbie, too.
pretty much what happens is the unoriginal plot that two girls who look alike switch places because they hate their lives. i'm usually pretty loose w/ disney movies because i know to expect them to be awful, but to actually say this is good and that the acting is good or even decent is completely idiotic. this movie was SO BAD! and none of these people including Maggie whatever can act.. it was so bad. the only reason to watch this would be for Justin Timberlake - not that he's good, he's just Justin Timberlake and cool. anyway, this movie was absolutely terrible and i didn't even watch the whole thing and i hate it this much! the ending sucked also. it was really predictable.
This movie was GREAT! Like most girls I only watched this movie because Justin Timberlake was in it, but after watching it I realized that it was a really good movie. Maggie Lawson was incredible! She and Justin worked so well together. Being a massive *NSYNC fan I was kinda worried that Justin wouldn't be as talented an actor as he is a singer but again I realize that I had nothing to worry about. He was so great! The movie was almost as good as Justin. (Ha! Ha! Ha!) There was only one thing that wasn't so great was Kathie Lee and Cody Gifford. Oh Well! I'm over it.
The phraise "Guilty Pleasure," comes to mind right off the bat. A fun quirky little movie, Model Behavior is like chocolate: you eat it up, even if its not that good. Justin Timberlake is an awful actor, but that's ok. The lead actress is pretty convincing as two different people, adding different personalities to the charactors. However they both seem to slip to easily into the other person's lifestyles. All this considered, if you just want to watch a movie and not really have to think about it, then Model Behavior is right for you. It may not be the best movie, but it is fun and energenic and you can watch it without cringing that much. Again, the only thing the WILL make you cringe is JT.

I find that in movies these days no one is willing to make dumb, mind numbing entertainment anymore so all these movies have moved to T.V.. I enjoy watching movies that do all the thinking for you, you can just sit back and enjoy. I, personally am an *NSYNC fan so I first turned on the movie mainly because of Justin Timberlake. I also like Maggie Lawson, theymade a good couple. I heard about it because it was filmed here in Toronto and some friends of mine were in it, otherwise I wouldn't have known, therefore it was in desperate need of a little advertisement. As I already said I really enjoyed the movie, aside from the leads the actors were seriously lacking. My only other complaint is that the movie seemed to end because they were running out of time, not because it was over. So many pieces were sort of left hanging (I won't say what I don't want to spoil), I also wish they had put more focus on Janine and Jason in the end, since a large chunk of the movie WAS about them.
Overall however, it was a good fun movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoy!
