After spotting an escaped felon, a boy and 3 compatriots stake out an apartment they suspect he will be visiting. There is something in the building that the convict wants very badly which puts the 4 boys, and a girl in the apartment, in extreme danger. I think pre-teens would find this film exciting and full of suspense.

I caught this movie i think on the USA network or HBO either way i feel in love with this movie. It's such a cute movie and the acting is so good and i love the storyline. I love how he ends up falling for the girl and tells her he's moving away to find out what else happens watch the movie. It all so brought along a not so common friendship between some unlikely characters. Cute music and well casted i absolutely adored this movie and will be purchasing it in the near future. I recommend this movie for family or for a kids night and for sure the babysitter has to pick this one up. If you know little kids who are in to the spy thing and are burnt out on spy kids then this is for sure the movie for you. Now i sound like a infomerical. Anyways recommended for anyone and everyone parents will more then likely get a kick out of it! ~!

'A Kid Called Danger' (1999) - Eric Hendershot.
Dane (Clayton Taylor), a precocious young kid wants to be a cop like his dad so bad that he risks life and the prepubescent limbs of his wacky gang to capture at-large Jewel thief Frank Connelly(Noah Forest). You've had Spy Kids, spooky kids, cabbatch patch kids, so why not detective kids? A Kid Called Danger remains a mostly fun all-ages romp that succeeds due to the surprising amicability of its youthful cast, and its playful sense of humour. Not unlike the best of the Children's Film Foundation, A Kid Called Danger is zestily wholesome family fare that isn't so saccharine as to be indigestible to everyone else.

I watched this movies 6 yrs plus back with my two children and we enjoyed it a ton. then about 2 yrs back I met and started dating this gentlemen. one day we were talking about movies and Just like Dad and Kids called Danger came up in our conversation. To my surprise he was in BoTh movies . Lol , small world . In Just like Dad he was the "muscle Man" hire3d to play the dad , In Kid Called Danger he was the "bad man" who was robbing the jewels .. I am impressed and so proud of my Now husband . Yes I ended up marrying this Man , D'Marko Blewett 2 yrs ago. He is still active in life and does so many things to make sure everyone has goals and dreams in life.
