One of Poul Reichhardt's last major acts. A few weeks after the final sound dubbing and only one month before the release of the Christmas calendar - Reichhardt had a massive stroke on October 31. It ended his acting career. 'Torvet' had been recorded in the daytime hours while the 68-year-old Reichhardt simultaneously had evening theater performances as well as early morning filming for Matador at Nordisk Film.
