Juan Bustillo Oro and Humberto Gomez Landero won the 1939 Comite Nacional de la Industria Cinematografica Mexicana ( Nation Committee of the Mexican Motion Picture Industry) Best Adaptaion award for "Cada Loco con su Tema" (aka "Every Man to his Mania").
