The likelihood appears to be almost certainly yes. DNA retesting of the physical evidence and reinvestigation of some of the murders in recent years have only strengthened the case against him. Williams' alibi proved to be false and his behaviour such as burning his clothes after being stopped by the police extremely suspicious. No evidence or witnesses have ever been discovered to confirm any of the conspiracy theories and they have largely been dismissed as reluctance on the part of the Afro-American community to accept that the sole culprit was a member of their own society rather than a wider white supremacist/paedophile ring plot against them. Ultimately the Altlanta child murders stopped after Williams' arrest and the evidence against him is overwhelming if largely circumstantial.
