Sinead shows her passion for life through her music. With this video, she demonstrates her raw musical abilities in the best way possible. For the most part it is just her singing. Sure, there are some cool color effects, but it is mostly just her, passionately singing her heart out. That is what is so spectacular about her. She can just stand alone on a stage and sing and still be better than most of the "singers" around today. This video captures this ability at her greatest. I have seen this video many times and am still enthralled by it. If you have never seen or Sinead before, go to a store and buy this now. You will be hooked forever. ))<>((

This John Maybury film is a great music video introducing Sinead O'Connor to the world in 1986.
I was in fact at the Dominion Theatre during this recording. The video itself is a piece of experimental art work between cuts from one song to another. Very Interesting.
My favourite tracks were Jerusalem, which was a powerful song and wonderful singing by Sinead. Maybury made it powerful with his grainy imagery which follows through the who DVD. Troy the other track was sweet and ended with a powerful note.
Note. I actually used Jerusalem song for my own music video with Kind permission of Chysalis, Ensign and EMI. It was a success for for my show, in university.
