I recently viewed The Blair Witch Rejects on home video. I have not been exposed to many Blair Witch spoofs, only a couple of short amateur videos. I believe Blair Witch Rejects may be the only feature length spoof of the original.
Anyway, putting it in a Hollywood setting was a great idea, and I really got a kick out of the scene when our fearless filmmakers finally ventured to the woods, and ran into several other clusters of filmmakers making the same documentary. That says a lot about people jumping on a bandwagon, taking advantage and cashing in on a fad that will quickly fade. Isn't that Hollywood?
Special kudos to Brent, the actor playing the sound man. I really got a kick out of his subtle "dumb guy" performance, quite a few laughs there.
For a moment I was fooled by the "Artisan Lawyer" in front of Mann's Chinese Theater. I really thought our filmmakers were busted, because you never know who is on the streets of Hollywood. That was an actress, wasn't it?

It's nice to see a spoof with an identity of it's own aside from the film it's satirizing. With all the hastily produced "Blair Witch" spoof knockoffs that seemed to be everywhere, this one had a wry commentary on the very people who make them. While I would recommend that viewers view the original "Blair Witch" (a frame of reference is important) they will find the misadventures in this movie pretty hysterical (a producer, film crew and four actors ALL get lost in the woods after encountering other filmmakers in the same forest making their own "Blair Witch" spoofs). I loved this cast too, they managed to stay in character all the way through and looked like they had alot of fun making this. Great comedy!

I love this movie because it make fun of the most stupidest overrated movie ever, The Blair Witch Project. I can't stand that movie. This movie is million times better than The Blair Witch Project and more entertaining too. You must see this movie, this is one funny movie.
I give this film 7 out of 10
