Two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan, are teaming up and getting back into business with Netflix.

Netflix announced today, November 19, that the father-son duo would executive produce an untitled “Bollywood series” about an outsider breaking into the Hindi film industry. The show will be created and directed by Aryan Khan in what will be his directorial debut, while Srk’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, will executive produce the series.

According to Netflix, Khan’s untitled series is about “a charming, ambitious outsider [who] navigates the dazzling yet uncertain world of Bollywood.” Netflix adds that the series “blends self-aware humor with a high-stakes narrative — and promises a host of wicked cameos, blockbuster thrills and an unforgettable ride into the world of Indian cinema.”

The series will premiere on Netflix in 2025. No cast was announced for the project.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has a net worth of Rs 7300 crore, according to the data provided by the 2024 Hurun India Rich List. Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd and Rohit Shetty Productions unveiled the trailer of their upcoming film Dilwale in Mumbai along with fans and media. Director Rohit Shetty was present at the event along with the entire cast of the film – Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Sanjay Mishra. Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla has decided to don the cap of an associate producer for her forthcoming film ''I am'', directed by Onir.Sources close to the actress said, Juhi helped Onir initially to raise investors and then expressed desire to come as associate producer on board.Juhi''s husband Jai Mehta, their associates Anish and Sangita Modi, Onir, Sanjay Suri are the movie producers.Onir, Sanjay and Juhi''s association goes back a long way right from their ''My Brother Nikhil'' days and share a great camaraderie, sources said.&quot;After we completed the entire shooting, Juhi expressed the desire to join us as an associate producer. Her addition to our team will be a big asset. Actress Juhi Chawla will be seen in a different avatar as she lends her voice to the character of ‘Sita’ in an upcoming animated version of ‘Ramayana’, reports said.

The film is directed by Ketan Mehta.

Juhi Chawla, who turns 43 on Saturday (Nov 13), will surely have to offer something new to her fans with this voice-over.

She gained massive popularity in B-town with her debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, opposite Aamir Khan, in 1988. Since then, she continued to entertain her fans in films like Darr, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Ishq.

New Delhi, June 1 – Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, currently busy with his home production ‘Ra.One’, says he doesn’t make movies to earn money anymore.

‘My mantra for work changed five or seven years ago, I think. Now I don’t make movies to make money…I make money to make movies,’ Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page.

The 44-year-old has produced films like ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’, ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’.
