- TriviaAlthough Lord Brittish is notoriously invulnerable to attack by conventional weapons, there is an easter egg that allows you to slay him. Firstly, when you are in your home (on Earth) at the beginning of the game, you must take the box of rat poison from atop the fridge and then place it upon the electric bread maker. This will produce a loaf of poisoned bread. Take this loaf and carry it with you all the way to Lord Brittish's castle. At the castle, enter the small kitchen (accessible from a hidden door in the banquet hall), where you will find a plate of bread on the table. Replace this bread with your poisoned loaf. Lord Brittish will immediately enter the kitchen and proceed to unwittingly eat the poisonous bread. Shortly after, he keels over and dies.
- GoofsWhen he first journeys to Paws, the Avatar meets an orphan boy who had been exiled from Britain for stealing radishes. After the Avatar restores compassion to Britain, the boy tells the Avatar that he now works and lives with the farmer he had stolen from earlier. However, when the boy tells the Avatar all this, he is still in Paws.

Cartel Boss: [a group of pirates are illegally harvesting the venom of the Silver Serpent, which they can market as an addictive drug] Just find a way to get more venom, or I'll have you AND the serpent killed!
Aria: Oh, that's smart! Kill the goose because it's not laying enough golden eggs!

Featured review
This game was the worst ending to any game series. It is the worst. The storyline is written as if all the other games never happened. It was buggy as all get out and was initially unplayable. If you want a detailed explanation of how bad of a betrayal to the fans this is, go to YouTube. Do a search on 'Spoony Ultima 9'. He does a good job of outlining what's wrong with this game, but I warn you that the language is very harsh. This game should have never been made. "What's a Paladin?" - the worse line in gaming history. After you watch Spoony, you will understand why that is the worse line. There were rumors of an Ultima X, but thankfully it never saw the light of day. I can only imagine what a disaster it would have been.
