A settler stops some cowboys from abusing Red Wing. When word comes that his child has been kidnapped by a gang looking for revenge, and following them will make them kill the youngster, it's only Red Wing who has the smarts and toughness to rescue the victim.
This is one of movies directed by Red Wing's husband, James Young Deer. Like many of their collaborations and in direct contravention of the view most people have of old westerns, it argues for decency for the native tribes.
Although the acting techniques of the troupe are not as advanced as they were at Biograph and Vitagraph, the director and his unnamed cameraman shootthe scenes very well, with good landscapes and some exciting sequences.
