This Leon Errol short takes rather a while to get going, but once it does, it has some very funny moments. The supporting cast helps out with the comedy, and gets some good moments of their own. It ends up being worth the slower stretches towards the beginning.
The story starts with Leon's efforts to buy a birthday present for his wife, which then lead to some home mishaps and office mix-ups, with several other characters involved. The first few minutes are not as amusing, since there is a lot to set up, but the humor builds up nicely after that. Errol's character finds himself in a mess that just keeps getting bigger, and Errol plays the last part well, behaving in an exaggerated but funny manner. The rest of the cast play off his distress well enough to make the whole situation entertaining.
