Mazzaropi is a very overrated Brazilian comedian from the past. He always repeated the same character - an uneducated and honest countryman ("jeca" in Brazilian Portuguese) who speaks frankly in the way simple people do (including old and funny slang) - and very often the same story: his character (the "jeca", whose name may vary from film to film) leads the resistance against the exploitation of the poor by a powerful, evil and greedy landowner. You can always expect a very simplistic and predictable story, bad acting, harsh edition, some misogyny, and formulaic jokes. This one makes fun with Django spaghetti Western movies, as its name is "A pistol for Djeca".
