Augusto is married to Sonia, who is terribly jealous and suspects him of being unfaithful. Cristina is released from prison and finds the courage to show up on sister Angelines' doorstep. Esther, Raimundo's mother is very anxious when Augusto confides in her his biggest secret. Rosita, Ivana's sister gets a job.

At the marathon Ivana officially introduces herself to Raimundo and lies to him about being a college student. Patty is angry with Raimundo, who refused to get engaged to her. Esther decides to find Augusto's daughter. Cristina is pestered by Rafael. Rosita informs her parents about Ivana's 'boyfriend' and Bertha feels unwell. Sonia goes to the doctor, determined to get pregnant. Augusto has a lover.

The Robles family is n mourning. Raimundo is very moved to find Ivana in tears, when he and Ricky pay a visit to Tony to offer their condolences. Sonia learns from Esther the name of Augusto's mistress. Herminia urges Virginia to take her secret to the grave. Augusto has a blast from the past when he meets the girl, who comes to collect the check for the funeral. Patty has a jealous outburst.

Ivana learns of Raimundo's visit and now is scared to face him because he's aware of her lies. Augusto is in a terrible position - Sonia resumes with her jealousy in front of other people, Laura pushes him to get a divorce and the only pleasant thing recently is his encountering with Cristina when she comes for a job interview. Roberto advises Patty to find a new boyfriend. Esther dislikes Cristina.

Cristina discovers that Aristides, a man from her previous job is the auditor in Augusto's firm. Sonia is on her way to collect Augusto to have lunch with him when she hits a woman with her car. Raimundo is between two fires when Patty pushes for a wedding and Tony wants an explanation regarding his intentions towards Ivana. Rosita is kissed. Ivana tells Bartolo the truth regarding Raimundo.

Ivana convinces Sor Angelines to back up her lie that she has found a second job and in the mean time finds a real friend in Eduardo. Raimundo is fascinated when Tony tells him about Ivana finding a second job merely to prevent him from dropping out of the university. Cristina is anxious because of Esther's suspicions regarding her previous job and she bumps into Augusto, who is concerned for her after the car accident. Maribel tries to get back together with Roberto.

The Robles sisters have a big night ahead of them as Ivana awaits for Raimundo to pick her up for the concert and Rosita prepares a homemade dinner for Roberto. Tony finds Eduardo with a bloody back in the church. Sonia falls into a jealous rage when she calls Augusto and Laura picks up. Cristina smashes a bottle in Rafael's head. Raimundo dumps Patty.

Sonia introduces herself as a modeling agent to Laura. Augusto is very moved when Ivana gives him a canary bird to show her gratitude for the loan. Patty flirts with Tony. Roberto clarifies to Herminia not to meddle in his personal life. Esther is furious when Augusto informs her that Cristina will take her place for a while. Raimundo makes a love confession. Rafael gives Cristina an ultimatum.

Shooting of the commercial becomes a problem when Laura is beside herself to find that she was replaced by Maribel. Ivana starts her new job as a nanny to María Gabriela but Patty threats her as one of the maids. Raimundo is honest with Tony regarding his break up and his recently discovered feelings for Ivana. Rosita learns that Maribel was involved with Roberto. Cristina wants to flee from Rafael and decides to quit her job.

Ivana is not only humiliated but heartbroken and to hurt Raimundo, she lies to him about having a boyfriend all along and his name is Eduardo Rosales. Augusto hires Ortiz to track down his daughter. Cristina confides in Aristides that Rafael is blackmailing her. Esther is horrified that Raimundo is in love with Ivana. Tony ceases the opportunity to waltz into Patty's life. Virginia receives an upsetting phone call.

Cristina is surprised when Rafael swears to change but the bigger surprise is her epiphany that she has fallen in love with another man. Bartolo is worried about Tony, who didn't sleep at home. Ivana wears Jenny's bathing suit when María Gabriela wants to take a dip in the pool and Jenny gets furious. Augusto gives photos of Rosario and his daughter to Ortiz and Esther gets anxious. Raimundo apologizes to Patty.

Herminia takes control of the company and observes Augusto and Cristina going to lunch together. Patty and Jenny invite Ivana to the engagement party and insist on Tony's presence as well. Esther is rude to everyone at work because she's thinking only about Ortiz's investigation. Leopoldo shows up on Virginia's doorstep.

Ivana and Rosita share their life philosophies. Raimundo is worried when Esther doesn't return home. Maribel invites Roberto for a night cap. Cristina finally understands what's the biggest pain in Augusto's life. Jenny is very taken with Tony. Ricky wants to play a matchmaker for Rosemary. Eduardo prays again to forget Ivana.

Raimundo is very distraught by his mother's behavior especially her drinking and he tells Patty to cancel the engagement party. Ricky introduces Rosemary to Tony while Jenny swims in the pool and tries to catch his eye. Ivana takes María Gabriela to the playground and an accident follows. Maribel learns she has a rival. Eduardo insists that Ivana has to quit her job. Virginia tells Herminia of Leopoldo's visit.

Raimundo is taking care of Esther and she confesses who's the man of her dreams. Augusto is devastated when Ortiz informs him of his daughter's death and he visits Sor Angelines to share his pain. Bartolo forbids Ivana to continue to work in Contreras' house. Cristina wants to move out of the monastery.

Herminia lies to Leopoldo that she had an abortion but his visit upsets her so much that she takes it out on Ivana. Roberto sets Maribel straight regarding the nature of their relationship. Augusto is in mourning and Esther feels great relief. In order to protect Ivana, Eduardo proclaims himself her boyfriend in front of Raimundo, Patty, Tony and María Gabriela. Rafael fools the nuns and gets to do some repair jobs in the monastery.

Augusto spends the night with Laura and when he comes to work the next morning, Sonia awaits in his office. Virginia tells Herminia that Leopoldo has met Roberto. Ivana is determined to fight for her love despite Tony's threats but things become very complicated when Eduardo confesses his secret to her. Patty and Raimundo check Rosario into a hospital and when Esther learns about the accident, becomes anxious.

Cristina is attacked in her new apartment. Rosita faces Roberto and confesses she lied to him out of pride. Eduardo aids a woman in distress. Ivana keeps her job in the Contreras house and Sonia clarifies to her what are her duties. Leopoldo tells Herminia about his fortune, which he'll leave to his son. Jenny kisses Tony. Ortiz informs Esther that Rosario and her daughter didn't die in the accident 16 years ago.

Esther wants to find a new apartment in order to escape meeting with Rosario. Rafael lies to the nuns as he ensures them Cristina is living with a man in sin. Everyone arrives at the Contreras' for the engagement party and Raimundo finds a way to get Ivana alone but Patty busts them. Rosita spends the night with Roberto. Raimundo gets stitches for his finger and doesn't want to hear anymore about Patty or the engagement. Ivana is under heavy fire by her entire family after the scandal at the engagement party. Rosario is taken to a police station. Augusto has a drink with Roberto and confides in him his feelings for Cristina.

Sonia takes from Gaby the golden bracelet that Ivana gave her and notices the engraved date. Rosemary delivers to Raimundo Ivana's letter. Herminia fires Rosita. Augusto is full of hope after Ortiz's news and tells Sonia. Eduardo persuades Padre Rodrigo to give Rosario a job. Cristina quits and cools off Aristides' wooing.

Sonia is absolutely sure who is Augusto's daughter and shares her suspicions with Herminia. Ivana is still grounded. Cristina is assaulted. Augusto informs Sor Angelines about his daughter being alive. Patty uses the moral high ground to brainwash Raimundo. Rosario learns from Eduardo that the address she gave him is actually Raimundo's and she concludes he has to be Esther's son.

Augusto breaks up with Laura. Rosita takes out Cristina for a drink and gets her talking about her problems. Ivana goes to the Contreras' house with Eduardo and another scandal explodes when Patty starts interrogating her about the golden bracelet. Raimundo is worried and upset when Esther comes home and starts drinking. Herminia advise Sonia to rehire Ivana in order to keep an eye on her.

Ivana is delighted by Sonia's honeyed words as she re-installs her as Gaby's nanny. Rosario and Padre Rodrigo go to Esther's place again but no one is there and a passing neighbor informs them that Esther was rushed into a hospital. Patty won't accept Ivana's presence in her house again and she starts thinking of ways to destroy her. Rosita invites Cristina to spend the night in their house after a dreadful threat has been left in her flat.

Eduardo quits the seminary and moves in with the Robles. Aristides drugs Cristina. Rafael strikes a deal with Laura. Ivana gets the chance to visit Raimundo at home and to clear some of the questions and problems between them. Roberto tells Augusto about Cristina's nervous crisis over the dreadful threat on the wall. Leopoldo forces Virginia to revile the truth regarding his son.

Roberto is worried about Virginia's health. Augusto concludes that Cristina and Aristides are lovers so he decides to give his marriage another chance. Ivana is heartbroken after the news about Raimundo and Patty's night of passion. Rafael visits Cristina and when she blames him for all those anonymous calls and threats, he informs her that only Aristides has keys and access to the apartment.

Ivana asks Sonia to talk to Herminia not to ruin Rosita's life and also informs her of Patty being intimate with Raimundo. Augusto and Sor Angelines conclude that Cristina is pregnant from Aristides. Esther is back home and insists in front of Raimundo that Rosario is insane and she doesn't know anything about her daughter. Rosita warns Cristina that Aristides is a liar. Rafael puts his blackmailing scheme in action.

Augusto is on his way out and accidentally eavesdrops on Cristina and Rosita's conversation that is about him. Raimundo and Eduardo end up in jail and he learns the name of the woman, who is looking for her daughter. Roberto is devastated over Virginia's diagnosis. Esther tells Rosario that she left her daughter in an orphanage. Ortiz contacts Sonia with information regarding the whereabouts of Augusto's former wife.

Sonia drinks heavily, awaits for Augusto and her jealousy plants awful suspicions in her mind. Esther checks Rosario into a motel and swears to help her find her daughter and in the mean time lies to Raimundo that she drove Rosario back to the asylum. Cristina takes some sleeping pills that cause her to have visions. Ivana doesn't think she'll be able to fall in love with Eduardo. Sor Angelines promises Aristides she'll force Cristina to marry him.

Ivana is unhappy and quits her job despite Gaby's protests. Esther packs her things, takes Raimundo and move into a new neighborhood. Augusto tells Sonia they should get a divorce. Cristina has a job interview. Eduardo informs Bartolo of the glimmer of hope that Ivana gave him. Leopoldo offers Roberto any kind of help regarding Virginia's health. Rafael resumes obsessing over Cristina's relationships with other men.

Cristina is rushed to the hospital after the attack, Rosita suspects Aristides is behind it while Rafael blames Augusto. Esther sends Rosario on a wild goose chase when she buys her a ticket to New York and tells her that her daughter lives there. Ivana and Eduardo want to inform Augusto about Rosario's whereabouts but Herminia meets with them first. Patty uses the crisis in Sonia's marriage to spend time with Raimundo.

Esther tells Sonia the truth about Rosario and they develop a plan how to get rid of her. Virginia's condition worsens especially with Herminia, screaming in her ear not to tell anything to Roberto. Cristina gets into an argument with her aunt regarding her feelings for Augusto. Eduardo finds Raimundo and informs him of Esther's lies regarding Rosario. Ivana wants to tell Augusto about his former wife but talks to Sonia instead.

Sonia and Esther hire a hitman. Cristina warns Aristides to keep away from her and moves out of the apartment. Jenny invites Tony, Ivana and Eduardo to the movies. Raimundo learns everything about Rosario and Patty manages to drag him to the mall. Roberto could barely keep it together.

Ivana accepts to be Eduardo's girlfriend but things get complicated when he asks Bartolo for her hand in marriage. Raimundo presses Esther for the truth about Rosario. Sonia promises Rosario she'll help her meet with her daughter and in the mean time gets confirmation from the hitman, he'll take the job. Sor Angelines refuse to accept Augusto's feelings for Cristina and his determination to get a divorce.

Raimundo is shocked when Ivana accuses him of impregnating Patty. Augusto warns Aristides to leave Cristina alone and observes Laura being friendly with Ricky. Rosario wonders why Sonia has called yet and decides to go to the Contreras house. Cristina settles in her new job at the airline agency. Rosita starts talking to Roberto about a wedding and he tells her that he has no inheritance from Virginia merely debts.

Sonia and Esther's plan goes into action when Herminia drives Rosario to an abandoned place where the poor woman believes she'll meet her daughter. Leopoldo visits Roberto and tells him why he was in prison. Ivana receives a phone call from a stranger, who gives an address, where she has to meet with Raimundo. Eduardo brags to Padre Rodrigo and the nuns about his soon-to-be wedding.

Ivana is arrested and has to tell the truth why she was in that abandoned place. Raúl invites Rosita to dinner. Patty acts very sad over the situation at home and tries to spend the night at Raimundos'. Cristina tells Augusto about the acquaintance between the Robles family and Rosario.

Ivana spends a sleepless night in the cell, thinking about Eduardo's accusations towards Esther and Raimundo. Sonia denies any knowledge regarding Rosario in front of Augusto and Esther lies that Rosario has told her she never had a daughter. The Robles family and their friends discuss the whole situation. Roberto won't accept anything from Herminia.

Raimundo drags Patty to the doctor to clarify whether she's pregnant. Sonia ensures Ivana and Bartolo in her good intentions, moral and financial support. Rosita is ashamed when Maribel throws in her face the paper with article about Ivana's arrest. Augusto is cold to Esther, gathers his personal belongings from his office when Herminia walks in and takes control of the company.

Ricky goes clubbing with Laura. Raimundo cries like a child in Esther's arms because of the situation with Ivana. Roberto is certain in his client's innocence, manages to find a witness and to move the court date. Sonia is upset after the unpleasant scene with Augusto but things get much worse when Rafael asks a huge sum of money in order to keep his mouth shut regarding the murder and other secrets.

Ivana is taken to a correctional institution. Roberto forbids Rosita to meet with other men. Sonia informs Herminia about Rafael's knowledge of the murder and some other secrets. Esther urges Raimundo to forget about Ivana and focus on his engagement. Sor Serena is kissed. Aristides threatens Cristina at work.

Ivana is set up and the guard throws her in the dungeon. Raimundo looses his patience and leaves during the talks about the wedding. Sonia gives Esther the journal and is unaware tat makes quite an impression on a distinguished business, who has just arrived in the city. Augusto is shocked to discover that Ricky has gone celebrating Laura's birthday. Roberto sees through Maribel's proposal to accompany her to Europe.

Patty pays the guard and promises more if Ivana gets as much abuse as possible. Raimundo is puzzled by Esther's ridiculous speculations regarding the murder and declines to wed in a church. Leopoldo introduces Roberto to Victor and he offers him a job. Sonia presses Ricky to break up with Laura. Sor Angelines urges Cristina to revive her relationship with Rafael.

Sonia ends up in the hospital after the fall and Ricky blames Augusto for the accident. Rosita shows Roberto her true colors when she explains her priorities. Jenny makes Tony a love confession. Ivana is harassed by the guard but receives visitors and support from Raquel. Esther convinces Raimundo to keep quiet about Rosario's journal. Aristides is arrested.

Laura takes Ricky on a shopping spree, charging everything to his credit card. Sonia checks out of the hospital despite Augusto's protests. Cristina is upset after the meeting with her father while Sor Angelines urges Victor to stop blaming his daughter for his wife's death. Ivana starts believing Esther is somehow involved in the murder. Raimundo talks to one of his teachers to get him a job.

The guard takes away Ivana's bracelet and Raquel starts thinking that Patty pays her to harass Ivana. Augusto and Cristina take the next step. Raimundo urges Esther to confess to Augusto everything about Rosario. Victor takes Sonia when she has a bit much to drink. Raúl and Rosita drink an entire bottle of champagne to celebrate her new job. Jenny tells Patty about her intention to move in with Tony and Patty mocks her.

Raimundo is pressured to marry Patty the next day but he stuns everyone when he announces they won't live together. Bartolo juggles Rosita's memory regarding her childhood. Victor learns about Cristina's problems with Aristides. Eduardo informs Roberto about Ivana's fear of the guard. Esther plants a dreadful suspicion in Augusto's mind that Ivana and Eduardo murdered Rosario and were about to blackmail him.

It's the first session of the process against Ivana. Esther is a bit shaken when Raimundo introduces to her Santiago and invites him to his wedding. Cristina gets a promotion and learns that Raúl is in business with Victor. Rafael shows up at the Contreras house to claim his check from Sonia right during the wedding preparations.

Patty and Raimundo are married but the groom gets drunk, leaves the reception and goes to the correctional institution, screaming Ivana's name. Rafael receives his pay. Sonia visits the Robles', heavily drunk and accuses Cristina of her ruined marriage. Victor opens up to Augusto regarding his daughter.

Raimundo takes the stand and when Roberto pushes him too much with his interrogation, Ivana proclaims guilty again. Sonia and Victor fall in bed. Augusto is very confused with everything, doesn't know what to think and goes to Cristina, who is certain that Esther is responsible for the murder. Rafael reads an article about the process and learns there is a witness. Esther testifies and twists all facts just to confuse the court.
