On the island of Marie Galante, in Guadeloupe, the party is in full swing on the occasion of the birthday of Horace Ste Rose, mayor of the city. His wife Lucia and his two sons Manuel the doctor and Freddy the artist as well as all his friends are present. Two days later, while she is passing through Paris, Lucia is kidnapped.
