'Sexy Showgirls & Dirty Dancers' comes from Playboy's long line of 'Strip' videos on the subject of strip clubs. However it happened to be my first taste and while I could guess the route the theme was gonna take can't deny some rock solid visuals here. It starts off on a fairly hot note and then pet peeves of mine - time wasted on talk, setups - and a few poor segments keep it from reaching top tier.
Drinks, shiny poles, stages and the girls in and out of skimpy clothes as dollar bills get stuffed serves for a hot but typical montage intro that also has a few unique shots (2 mins). "Rachelle, Vanessa, & Heather" is the three ladies, strippers up first who talk about their occupation. It's light, harmless & thankfully doesn't run too long (1.5 mins). "Dance Contest" follows up as with the three in a club and in my book is top dollar. Heather is on stage doing her thing looking great when Vanessa arrives with her man, watches the show per the story going on here. Of course in fantasy fashion, Vanessa catches the eye of Rachelle in the crowd then surprises her man by getting up there first solo and then pulling up Rachelle to join her. Lots of lovely shots of these ladies are sure to keep you happy (7.5 mins).
"Stephanie" is another interview that also serves as setup for her scene (45 secs). "Presidential Suite" has her give a man a private dance and a bit of a bed romp. Stephanie has a great body, knows how to move it and the camera does a good job of capturing her giving off 'True Lies' vibes (8.5 mins). "Willow, Kelli, & Vickie" is the next batch of ladies, but only Willow speaks (50 secs). "Boy's Night Out" has them take it off on stage or in the guys laps. Simple, but pleasant visuals keep the good vibes flowing (7 mins).
These next parts ... well there's no nice way to say it. Take a huge dip. "De'Lila, Miklyn, Sharon & Melissa" talk of dancing taken much more seriously as B&W clips of 'em practicing are shown (2.5 mins). "Feeling Alive" is their stage show and while it goes topless, has shots of buns is not highly erotic. A solo male dancer gets center stage way too much as well (4 mins). "Necole & Raquel" sees the both of them talk about their dance background (1.5 mins). "Naughty Girls" is a set done up with a stage, lights and pole. Lots of skilled moves, but also some decent nude content in the mix (2.5 mins).
"Necole" returns for brief words as B&W footage of her topless is shown in what is the upcoming scene (35 secs). "A Private Show" takes way too long (2.5 mins) to setup it's strip show inside a warehouse between her & a dude. However once it gets going it improves with many lovely close-ups. Even when he joins in and it turns into a dance number the energy is kept high and shots of her keep coming (8.5 mins).
I went into 'Sexy Showgirls & Dirty Dancers' with low expectations and my tune changed upon the opening intro, first scene. Unfortunately this was the video's mile high mark and it never reaches that same level again. Overlook wasted time, one really poor segment and a slightly cheesy vibe (idea that stripping is glamorous, exciting for the women and not solely about $$). Sprinkles of excellent female visuals make for a solid watch.
