Exclusive: Russell Arons, an experienced digital executive who joined G4 TV last September as president, has exited the recently revived network.
Arons, who has previously held senior-level positions at Warner Bros, Machinima and Electronic Arts, left her G4 post in July, multiple insiders confirmed to Deadline. Her departure came less than a year after her arrival was announced, and the exact circumstances remain unclear. Arons and Comcast Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based entertainment and sports division of Comcast that runs G4, both declined to comment.
Joe Marsh, an executive with extensive gaming-related experience at Comcast Spectacor, is expanding his role to encompass many of Arons’ former duties, according to a person familiar with the transition. Marsh is currently serving as CEO of T1, an international esports joint venture between Comcast Spectacor and Korea’s Sk Telecom. Marsh was previously chief business officer for the Philadelphia Fusion, an esports team formed by Comcast...

When it comes to video games, Jirard Khalil likes to be thorough. Some players are willing to put down the controller after beating the final boss, but Khalil doesn't quit until he's collected 100 of the items and completed 100 of the missions that are available to him. That thorough approach has earned him the moniker The Completionist -- and 1.5 million YouTube subscribers to go with it.
Khalil's dedication to the games he plays has not gone unnoticed, and in 2020, a cable channel hit him up. The G4TV network was planning its revival, and it wanted The Completionist to serve as one of its primary on-air hosts. Two years later, G4 is back on the airwaves, and Khalil appears on some of its flagship programs, including Attack of the Show and X-Play. Now, he's branching out even more by launching God of Work, a mockumentary that imagines what The Office would...

Los Angeles, March 13 (Ians) Pop sensation Selena Gomez says her debut Spanish project Revelacion is meant to serve as "homage" to her Spanish roots.
"The project is really an homage to my heritage. A lot of my fan base is Latin, and I've been telling them this album was going to happen for years. But the fact that it's coming out during this specific time is really cool," Gomez told Vogue about the Extended Play (EP), as reported by People magazine.
In another interview to LA Times, the 28-year-old superstar revealed that while Spanish is her mother-tongue, it was frustrating, at times to record songs in the language.
"There's a lot of slang that I needed to learn. Spanish changes generationally as well as (geographically). Sometimes I was like, 'Wait! Hang on! I need to understand!' There would be moments where I would end the (recording) session because I would get so frustrated,...

Video game journalists don’t often write articles about others in their field, but in this case we seem to be making an exception.
Adam Sessler is perhaps the godfather of video game journalism, critical thinking, analysis and humour. His weekly Soapbox vodcast, his work on Attack of the Show and the weekly G4TV feedback have all been great sources of information and humour. He is a huger personal inspiration and I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
His representatives had this to say…
