Aired after the gothic soap "Dark Shadows" during the summer of 1966 on ABC.
During this series' run, regular Linda Scott who had 3 consecutive hits in 1961, "I Told Every Little Star","Don't Bet Money Honey" and "I Don't Know Why (I Love You Like I Do)", also performed her interesting renditions of The Beatles' "I'm Down" and "What You're Doin".
Dick Clark was the host in this daily "after-school" format of music videos, a cross between Shindig! (1964) and American Bandstand (1952), a forerunner to MTV. Many top American and British acts appeared, including Otis Redding, The Four Seasons, The Association, The Zombies, Peter and Gordon and The Everly Brothers. Regulars on almost every show were Paul Revere & The Raiders, Linda Scott and Steve Alaimo who performed their own songs as well as hits of the day.
