This film was comprised of scenes culled from several earlier features, and included a newly-filmed "wraparound" segment. It was a regional "roadshow" attraction...most screenings included live players in costume interacting with the audience. It has been conjectured that this project went forward in violation of the presented films' copyrights.
Today, no prints are known to be extant, therefor it is presumed lost.
In some territories, this was shown as a special midnight attraction.
The reputation of this film became so infamous that some theatre chains were able to negotiate a contact in which their theaters would keep 75% of the boxoffice.
Some exhibitors reported a significant number of early walkouts.
