Everyone has to start somewhere. Chris Pratt may have landed huge blockbuster films like Guardians of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie, but before that, he was just a young stud living in Hawaii, waiting for his big break. Pratt recently posted a super sweet snapshot of his baby-faced self showing off the van he was living out of as an unknown actor. In his hand? The script that would take him straight to Hollywood.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Pratt was working at Bubba Gump Shrimp while waiting to hear back from director Rae Dawn Chong, who ultimately cast him in Cursed Part 3. After that he landed television roles in Everwood, The O.C., and Parks and Recreation. And from there, the rest is history.
But Pratt wasn’t the only notable star who was homeless before Hollywood. Check out which other actors struggled before fame, in the gallery below.

Before starring in "Guardians of the Galaxy," the summer blockbuster that has made over $200 million at the box office, not to mention his stint on "Parks and Rec," Chris Pratt's life was... different. His extremely humble beginnings start in Hawaii, living out of a van and waiting tables at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Luckily, actor/director Rae Dawn Chong gave Chris Pratt a role in "Cursed Part 3," and the rest is history.
Take a look at this unbelievable photo of him and of the van that he called home in Maui, Hawaii.

Before Chris Pratt was Andy on Parks and Recreation, before he was Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, before he was braiding interns’ hair in on-camera interviews, Chris Pratt was homeless — but living in a pretty cool van.
Pratt shared a photo of the vehicle, which features a decal of Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, on his Facebook page with the caption, “This is the van I lived in!!! In my hand is the script for the movie that got me out of Maui. Crazy.”

Fans know Chris Pratt as the dorky, yet adorable Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation. They also may recognize his impressive abs from movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Zero Dark Thirty. But before he became a star on both the big and small screen, the 35-year-old actor financially struggled to the point of being homeless. On Friday, Pratt shared with fans the very same Scooby-Doo van he used to call home. "Can't believe I found this picture!!!" he shared on Facebook. "That is the van I lived in!!! In my hand is the script for the movie that got me out of Maui. Crazy." The script is believed to be from the 2000 short horror movie, Cursed Part 3. In recent...
