T Series left Nadeem Shravan's name of the audio cassette covers due to problems with Nadeem Saifi. Gulshan Kumar had bought the music rights from Amitabh Bachchan's music label BIG B. When ABCL went bankrupt they sold the music rights to T Series.

Twinkle Khanna was signed for the lead but opted out.
