The kids drive across America to get to Hollywood. They encounter a magical washroom and a haunted woods along the way.

The kids are low on cash. They answer an ad to be summer counselors in a private school.

The kids finally make it to LA. With no money, Jo is forced to trade in her car. Bradley gets run over by rollerblading Joni Witherspoon (Linda Blair) who gives the kids a place to stay for free.

Hannah is a bad tour guide but makes a tour guide arrest of a burglar breaking into a movie star's home. Joni needs a fake boyfriend. The group volunteers Paul.

Paul dates news reader Linda Lewis who starts changing him. Hannah and Tina pretend to be surfers. The gang gets a gig after a surfing contest.

The group decide that their current agent is not much good, so Joni recommends a better one. Their potential new agent decides that Rachel has to take his geeky son, Billy, to the prom in order to secure him as their agent. However, Rachel has already organised a date with the attractive Sam. Luckily Jo, Tina and Hannah are willing to step in and take Sam as their date. But he soon realises that these three girls on one date can be a bit of a handful. Meanwhile, Jon falls in love when he spots a glimpse of a mysterious girl.

The kids struggle to pay rent to Joni. She gets Rachel, Jo, and Paul a house sitting job at a mansion. It is luxurious and boring. They invite the others but it gets out of control.

Paul annoys everybody with his documentary filming. Tina teaches at Muscle Beach and falls for Ryan. Rachel gets Jon in trouble by challenging a bully to arm wrestling who happens to be Ryan.

Jobs are hard to find and the place is a mess. Jon gets a modeling job. Bradley and Jo compete for a burger job.

Joni gets Rachel, Jo, and Hannah an audition to be one of three cosplay video game promoters. Bradley gets obsessed with a video game.

Joni is furious at the kids for attracting ants into the apartment and being dumped by her boyfriend. The kids decide to make their own movie.

The kids blow out the power. The neighbors are not happy. They need $200 to fix it before Joni finds out.

The S Club gang become very depressed when their manager fails to find them any acting or singing assignments. Joni accepts a marriage proposal from her new boyfriend and decides to sell her apartment building, leaving the band with no place to live. The S Clubbers wonder if they should hit the road again since they have not found fame and fortune in Los Angeles.

With the group feeling homesick for Christmas, they decide to try to raise enough money with jobs as a mall Santa and elves and a final gig in L.A. in order to fly back to England, blissfully unaware that a down on his luck music promoter is trying to find them to save his career. However, things go wrong as Hannah, Bradley and Paul are involved in a car crash, leaving the group with a dilemma on whether to stay in L.A. with an amnesiac Paul or return to England without him.
